Lion-like leaders are not extinct, but they are on the endangered species list. The importance of character, integrity, and spiritual courage cannot be overestimated. How did Daniel do it? From age 15 to age 85 he refused to be blended into the world in which he was forced to live. His life was threatened by proud Nebuchadnezzar, mocked by wicked Belshazzar, and sentenced to death in a lions’ den by King Darius. Through all of this he never lost his integrity. Daniel was a man who lived with lion-like character and we can do the same.
