America the Beautiful

America has embodied several ideals during her 250-year history. From the variety of breathtaking landscapes across her lands, to the religious and political freedom she stands for, to the bravery her citizens have shown time and time again—all of these are what make America beautiful! Though her history is far from perfect, the ideal to create “one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all” still remains. As believers, we pray that America would once again submit to God’s Word—and in so doing, we ask for God’s continued blessing on this country. “America, America, God shed His grace on thee!”

All Praise to Him

What is truly praiseworthy? Our world is quick to heap praise on a myriad of qualities, character traits, or accomplishments, but what should believers honor and praise? Instead of exalting individuals for their achievements or seeking to promote our own reputations, believers are to recognize God as the ultimate source of all good things. From the beginning of creation to the completion of salvation, God alone is truly worthy of our praise for His character and works. May God help us to reflect and direct All Praise to Him.

We Hold These Truths

July 4, 2026, marks 250 years of the American Dream. It’s a significant milestone. But it comes at a time when the United States seems noticeably disunited. With that in mind, we set out to write an American anthem—not a hymn or a partisan political statement, but an anthem—based on the Declaration of Independence. The result is “We Hold These Truths.” America’s Founders believed that God created all people equal and gave them inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These truths are still worth holding, defending, and celebrating today.

Arise, Rejoice!

The beating heart of “Arise, Rejoice!” is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He lovingly entered our brokenness in love and then exerted His mastery over our sorrow and sin. His resurrection from the dead proclaims to this very day that salvation belongs to the Lord. Rejoice! He is risen! He is risen indeed.

Overwhelming joy must have filled Mary’s weary heart that night in Bethlehem as she pondered the miraculous birth of the Newborn King. What a privilege that her hands would soon hold the
Infant Fair and her arms would cradle Heaven’s Heir! May we, like Mary, be filled with jubilation this Christmas season as we marvel at His birth and worship the Holy Child of Bethlehem.

Walk in His Light

No two things stand in greater contrast than light and darkness. Light illumines; darkness conceals. Light provides life, while darkness smothers it. Spiritually, light represents truth and holiness, while darkness pictures sin and death. Light dispels darkness, and darkness cannot overcome it. John’s gospel proclaims that light has come into the world in the person of Christ (John 1:4-9). He is the True Light that brings light to every man by conquering the darkness of sin and death. His victory supplies abundant hope to us as believers, often suffering in the darkness of this world, that our darkness will be dispelled and finally destroyed by His glorious light! May God help us to walk in His light and shine that light in this dark world, so that others may find in Christ the Light of Life.

My Lord Was Emptied

At its heart, the gospel celebrates the selfless, sacrificial love Jesus showed to undeserving, guilty sinners. Inspired by Philippians 2:5-11, “My Lord Was Emptied” magnifies Christ’s humility in leaving the splendor of heaven, emptying Himself of glory, and taking on human flesh so He could die in our place. The cost of our redemption was high — but the victory that Christ has won is even greater. He has overcome sin and death, and will one day be exalted and honored by all of creation. We can sing now, as we will sing in eternity: “Hallelujah, what a Savior!”

Our Sure Hope EP

As humans, we hope for good circumstances and outcomes. We long for feelings of true joy, peace, and security. Although our circumstances are ultimately out of our human control, we can find security in the person and work of Jesus Christ. He is our only source of hope. He is our Rock and sure foundation. He is our everlasting peace and the joy of our salvation. May God help us to find our hope in Him alone.
