Inspired by Philippians 2:5-11, “My Lord Was Emptied” magnifies Christ’s humility in leaving the splendor of heaven, emptying Himself of glory, and taking on human flesh so He could die in our place. The cost of our redemption was high &#8212; but the victory that Christ has won is even greater. He has overcome sin and death, and will one day be exalted and honored by all of creation. We can sing now, as we will sing in eternity: &#8220;Hallelujah, what a Savior!&#8221;</p>
